TRC was appointed by a luxury brand named after the iconic creator, Dita von Teese, to design, manage and implement a Pop-up store of 60 square meters within the lingerie department of Selfridges on Oxford Street in London.
The brief was to create a space that presented the range of sleepwear and lingerie in an elegant and attractive manner in-keeping with the identity of the brand whilst setting it apart from the adjacent collections. TRC were tasked with managing and overseeing the entire project from concept, manufacture, installation, merchandising and dismantling within a set budget which was achieved without compromise.
The design concept was based on the sensuous nature of the collection and Dita’s own aesthetic image as a Burlesque artist. Working within the genre, the strong use of a rich deep pallet of red, black and white was used. Patterns and curves from the beautiful lingerie range were inspiration for the fixtures.
A plush rug, upholstered hanging rail and red damask velvet curtain softened the space to create a welcoming shopping environment bought together by inspirational quotations from Dita in gold words wrapping the perimeter of the space.
The launch zone feature consisted of a mannequin grouping supported by a fixture covered with 400 silk roses inspired by Dita’s birthday party in a French Castle all set around a golden circular hole which was taken from a photo shoot. Tasteful elements of gold trim lent an air of elegance.
The layout and presentation of product was carefully curated by our VM team to stand out and attract.
