TRC started working with designer swimwear brand Orlebar Brown in 2013 to explore their Visual Merchandising strategy. The following year TRC moved on to work with the team at Orlebar Brown to design their new Retail Concept.
The TRC 3D team worked in partnership with the brand to develop a complete new retail concept both for owned stores and wholesale accounts. During the design process the team managed the production of selected fixture prototypes and the installation of these in Orlebar Brown’s London HQ.
To consistently manage global implementation of the Orlebar Brown brand at retail, the TRC 3D team created a detailed retail concept design handbook.
The retail concept design handbook was for both internal and external use. It detailed 3 ideal store footprints, full guidance on the facade, windows, cash desk, wall and floor fixtures, all fixture technical drawings along with the approved material palette. This handbook enables distributors around the globe to reproduce the Orlebar Brown retail concept in accordance with the brand guidelines using local manufacturers and easily sourced materials.
TRC continue to work with Orlebar Brown to develop and improve the retail concept, creating bespoke adaptations for individual retail stores and spaces as required.
The partnership with Orlebar Brown continues by supporting them with their retail expansion. TRC have managed the design and planning of new retail openings in St tropez – France, Knokke Zoute – Belgium, SAKs 5th Ave, NYC and Harrods, London as well as the design and planning of their office space and showrooms in both the UK and New York.
