Things that have inspired us this month...

Despite the weather, we've found some reasons to be cheerful during this grey and dull February! It's been a while but we are back with things that have inspired us this month. From exhibitions to fashion and some fun and exciting Pop Up Shops, these are our highlights...

Surface Design Show…

An afternoon trip to the Surface design show is a great way to gain ideas and insight that help us with our retail design projects. We loved the new materials section with a range of unusual products, made from an interesting array of sustainable and recycled materials.

In the mood for love…

A stand out retail experience for Valentines month has to be Fortnum & Masons Chapel of Love. Whether having an actual ceremony or just shopping this was a fun way to enhance the customer experience in store and offered a great reason to visit.

Fashion Icon…

We were lucky enough to catch the last weekend of the Mary Quant exhibition at the V&A.  Such an interesting insight into the life and work of this inspirational lady, from the first shop on the Kings Road to becoming a global brand through her ground breaking ideas and designs for the modern day woman.

Euroshop…

The big one for the retail industry, held in Dusseldorf, Germany every three years, this exhibition showcases everything from design and technology to Visual Merchandising and Marketing and highlights future trends and innovations for the retail sector.

Spring has almost sprung….

Our Visual Merchandising Managers Clare and Cigie presented Visual Merchandising 101 at Spring Fair, giving a great insight in to VM basics and how to implement them in store to help enhance the customer experience and drive sales.  You can see highlights from their presentation here on our website.
